The RUSH LAKE COTTAGE is a style we call "contemporary-pole building". It faces south, but the floor plan was intentionally arranged to allow a panoramic 90 degree view from south-east to south-west. Every site has a "best view", but this property was unusual in having a multi-directional, south facing, lake orientation.

The design solution incorporates a Great Room with Kitchen, Dining and Living space facing the lake. The Master Bedroom also faces the lake; it has its own adjacent vanity, but shares the shower/toilet room with a separate Guest Vanity. There is one Guest Bedroom on the "other-side" of the house, and an open Loft which is planned as an office and additional sleeping space. Total enclosed living area is 1,971 square feet, plus a Screened Porch and Deck.
