An "Architect" is defined by Webster as, "one whose profession is to design, draw plans for, and supervise the construction of buildings or other structures". The American Institute of Architects defines architectural "Services" as being broken down into four "Phases": "Design Phase", "Construction Documents Phase", "Bidding or Negotiation Phase" and "Construction Phase".

We can provide invaluable services from the very beginning of a project, until the day you move in. However, each client and each project is different, and it is possible for us to consult only on an hourly basis or to be involved in only one phase or the other.

There are hundreds of "specialty contractors" that relate to the design and construction of homes and cottages.
